Last night I was finally able to do my pro bike fit for my new bike. I bought my bike and was fitted at Cycle University http://www.cycleuniversity.com/ It was really interesting. I was set up on a computrainer to warm-up a bit. During my warm-up the fitter watched me ride to see what adjustments he needed to make. I knew when I first bought the bike the saddle needed to be swapped because right away my girly bits were hurting. I think I now want to get a computrainer. Ooooooh, so many toys out there and soooooo not enough money for them all!
The fitter adjusted the aero-bars so I didn't have to reach so far, adjusted the saddle height and swapped out the men's saddle for a women's. The bike is still at the shop where they need to do some final adjustments, make the cables a bit shorter, and I guess they are cutting part a part of the aero-bar so it doesn't stick out and become a safety hazard. I should finally be able to take my bike home next week. It really doesn't matter anyway as it is pouring down rain today. But I do have all next week off and if the weather shapes up I am definitely taking it out for its innaugural ride!
Growing up and growing out.
